Blodgett Oven Company is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to manufacture complex metal parts for commercial ovens. You will set up and operate CNC press brakes, form parts from detailed drawings, and ensure accuracy with precision gauges and tools.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, including GD&T.
• Knowledge of shop measurement techniques and precision tools.
• Excellent paperwork, counting and quality control skills.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented dept.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Responsabilités

• Operate CNC press brakes following established procedures.
• Set up and tool the machine with punches and dies using gauges and templates.
• Load and verify programs; adjust for correct dimensions and angles.
• Form parts per blueprint specifications.
• Perform quality checks on first, middle, and last parts with precision tools.
• Troubleshoot minor tooling or material issues to sustain production.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE as required.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on the machine.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and machine.
• Assist other departments as directed.
