Accelera in Georgetown, TX is seeking a reliable CNC Operator/Programmer to join our manufacturing team. You will program, set up, and operate HAAS milling machines to produce precise prototypes and components from engineering drawings.

You will work with G-code/M-code, verify part accuracy with precision tools, and refine CNC programs to maximize efficiency. Proficiency in Mastercam is a strong plus, and the role requires independence with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Proven background in CNC milling operation and programming.
• Experience with HAAS CNC milling platforms is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code programming languages.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and sketches.
• Demonstrated ability to manage prototype part production lifecycles.
• Skilled in using precision measuring equipment for dimensional verification.
• Diagnose machining problems and perform tooling/offset adjustments.
• Familiarity with Mastercam is a significant advantage.
• High level of focus and organizational skill to ensure quality output.
• Ability to work independently while supporting the team.
• Strong English communication (verbal and written).
• Reliable attendance and transportation to site.
• Overtime readiness based on production needs.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and run HAAS CNC milling machines to create prototypes and parts.
• Transform engineering blueprints into finished components to meet specs.
• Refine and troubleshoot CNC programs to maximize production efficiency.
• Utilize G-code and M-code to optimize machine performance.
• Analyze technical drawings to determine dimensions and machining requirements.
• Choose tools and set parameters to maintain production quality.
• Verify part accuracy using micrometers, calipers and other inspection tools.
• Make mechanical and programming tweaks to ensure tolerances.
• Maintain production progress records and inspection data for team use.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
