Job summary

Ascential Technologies seeks a skilled machinist to operate manual mills and lathes during the 2nd shift, from 3:20pm to 1:50am, Monday through Thursday. You will follow work orders, set up machines, load stock, and inspect parts to ensure they meet customer and company standards.

The role requires strict adherence to safety procedures and comprehensive documentation of production and quality logs. Experience with measuring parts and following instructions is preferred to maintain repeatability

• Experience operating manual mills or lathes is helpful.
• Ability to follow work orders and inspect first-run parts.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Documentation of production and quality logs as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate mills and lathes by following instructions and reference points.
• Load stock, verify settings, and measure first-run parts.
• Maintain quality by adhering to drawing/specification standards.
• Document actions and communicate irregularities between shifts.
• Perform preventive maintenance and report equipment issues.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations.
• Contribute to production goals and add value where possible.
• Other duties as needed.
