Job summary

Erie Industrial Products LLC in Oberlin, OH is hiring an experienced CNC Operator to support precision machining operations. Set up and run CNC mills and grinders, read blueprints, adjust tooling offsets, and verify parts meet quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year CNC experience, with the ability to read drawings, edit G/M codes, and troubleshoot issues. Evening shift with overtime is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year CNC machining experience in manufacturing.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC machinery.
• Familiarity with X, Y, Z axes and 4th/5th axis machining.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• G & M code editing and CNC programming knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and grinders to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production docs.
• Change fixtures, tooling, and tooling offsets for accurate setups.
• Edit CNC programs and adjust G & M codes, speeds and feeds.
• Work with X, Y, Z axes and 4th/5th axis machining.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot machining issues with production and engineering teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area while meeting goals.
• Additional duties as assigned.
