Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a 2nd shift CNC Operator to produce precision machined parts by operating CNC equipment, maintaining quality and safety standards, and keeping accurate records. Under minimal supervision, you will read blueprints, perform basic operations and set-ups, document machine logs, and maintain tooling.

Qualified applicants have a High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years of CNC experience; Mazak and Hurco experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years CNC production experience.
• Mazak and Hurco experience preferred.
• Set-ups and programming experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints, job orders, and instructions for dimensions and tolerances.
• Completes machine set-ups per provided work instructions.
• Operates CNC machines and performs basic operations.
• Maintains logs and documents and performs routine maintenance.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
