Shenandoah Furniture, a division of Hooker Furnishings Corporation, seeks a dependable 2nd Shift CNC Operator in Mount Airy, NC. You will operate CNC machinery, record production data, and lift heavy parts as part of a dynamic team.

• Lift up to 50 lbs safely and with team lifts when required.
• Inspect parts for issues and repair if able.
• Work well individually and in a team, standing up to 9 hours per day.

The Position:

We are looking for a dependable individual with a great attention to detail to join our team in our Mount Airy, NClocation as aCNC machine operator.

This individual will:

• Operate machines in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Accurately record production information. This could at times require use of an RF scanner or computer.
• Have the ability to lift 50 lbs. safely and at times more while performing group lifts.
• Complete Inspections of parts for issues and defects and repairing if able.
• Be able to work well both individually and in a team setting and working standing up to 9 hours per day.

Candidates that will be a great fit will:

• Have at least one year of CNC routing experience.
• Possess computer skills and basic math skills as they will be used daily on the job.
• Have the ability to remain on your feet in an upright position and bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach at or above shoulder level.
