Job summary

Holt Technical Staffing partners with a well-established aerospace manufacturing company to hire a 2nd shift CNC Miller. You will set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce high-precision aerospace components on a 2:00 PM–12:00 AM shift, Monday–Thursday, with a 3-day weekend.

This direct-hire, full-time role offers stability and growth in a modern CNC shop. Candidates should have proven experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T, performing tooling and offset adjustments, and

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a CNC Miller / CNC Machinist.
  • Strong experience with CNC milling and machine setup.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
  • Experience with tight-tolerance components.
  • Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and workholding.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision aerospace components.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
  • Perform tooling, workholding, and offset adjustments as required.
  • Inspect finished and in-process components using precision measuring equipment.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
  • Work to tight tolerances and maintain high-quality standards throughout production.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

2nd Shift CNC Miller – Aerospace Manufacturing(Direct Hire)

Pay: $27–$38 per hour
Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Schedule: Monday–Thursday

We are currently working with a well-established aerospace manufacturing company that is looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join their growing team on the 2nd shift. This is a great opportunity to join a modern CNC machine shop producing high-precision, complex components for the aerospace and defense industries. You’ll be working with advanced CNC machinery and supporting the production of tight-tolerance components where quality and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision aerospace components.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
  • Perform tooling, workholding, and offset adjustments as required.
  • Inspect finished and in-process components using precision measuring equipment.
