Workforce-Employment-Specialists in Holland, MI is seeking a skilled 2nd shift CNC Machinist/Programmer for the toolroom. The role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce precise parts per blueprints and CAD drawings.

You will troubleshoot issues, inspect parts with precision gauges, and collaborate with engineering to implement revisions. A strong focus on quality, accuracy, and safety is required in a clean, improvement-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience, including setup and programming.
• Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Strong blueprint-reading and precision-measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Program new jobs and update existing programs using GibbsCAM.
• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to meet drawing specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and engineering requirements.
• Inspect first-run and finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and comparators.
• Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machining issues; make adjustments to maintain quality.
• Maintain accurate setup instructions and repeat-job documentation.
