Job summary

Owens Industries is seeking a 2nd Shift CNC Machine Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. The role supports a Monday to Thursday schedule from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM, four 10-hour shifts, and a three-day weekend each week.

Training will start on 1st shift until skills meet expectations, with growth opportunities in a non-assembly environment. We value mechanical aptitude, comfort with measurements and numbers, and the ability to read complex drawings with GD&T.

Qualifications

• Dependable, mechanically inclined and interested in building a long-term career in precision manufacturing.
• CNC machining experience or willingness to learn.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; comfortable working with measurements and numbers.
• Solid understanding of basic math.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, models, and GD&T requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Openness to utilizing advanced CAM software such as Mastercam or PowerMill and performing G-code edits.
• Willingness to grow machining skills.
