Job summary

Owens Industries is seeking a 2nd Shift CNC Machine Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. The role supports a Monday to Thursday schedule from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM, four 10-hour shifts, and a three-day weekend each week.

Training will start on 1st shift until skills meet expectations, with growth opportunities in a non-assembly environment. We value mechanical aptitude, comfort with measurements and numbers, and the ability to read complex drawings with GD&T.

Job description

Owens Industries is looking for a 2nd Shift CNC Machine Operator who is dependable, mechanically inclined and interested in building a long-term career in precision manufacturing. This position follows a Monday to Thursday schedule from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM, with four 10-hour shifts and a three-day weekend every week. Owens Industries is willing to train the right person who has the attitude, work ethic and desire to learn. Training will take place on 1st shift until both parties agree the required skills have been met. The right candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, be comfortable working with measurements and numbers, have a solid understanding of basic math and be motivated to grow their skills within the machining industry. Previous CNC experience is preferred, but Owens Industries values the right mindset and willingness to learn. This is not an assembly-line environment. Owens Industries specializes in ultra-precision machining for the aerospace and defense industries, producing complex, low-volume components from materials like titanium, Inconel, stainless steel and other high-performance alloys.
