Allegion is hiring a 2nd Shift CNC Machinist in Princeton, IL to set up and operate CNC equipment and produce metal components per drawings and specifications. You will work in a safety‑conscious, quality‑driven team environment.

Key tasks include loading and unloading parts, basic inspections, recording production counts and defect reports, and collaborating with engineers and quality control. The role offers overtime, a competitive hourly base ($17.50–$31.30), and a strong commitment to safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level role; no experience required.
• Familiarity with machining techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC functions to cut, punch, form, drill, mill and stamp parts per drawings.
• Perform loading/unloading of parts, attach components, and use hand tools.
• Conduct basic inspections and maintain production count records.
• Follow step-by-step instructions for machine setup and operation.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and report hazards.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel.
