Job summary

Precinmac, located in South Paris, Maine, is seeking a CNC Machinist for 2nd shift. You will set up and run 4‑axis horizontal mills or lathe/mill-turn machines, read complex blueprints, and verify tolerances with precision tools.

The role emphasizes accuracy, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement in a high-precision aerospace/defense environment. HS diploma and CNC experience required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Machining training or 2+ years CNC experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficiency with precision inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up, load parts, prove programs, adjust offsets, and perform edits.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and specifications.
• Inspect work using precision measurement tools and make corrections as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and perform basic machine PM.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams.
