Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a CNC Machinist for 2nd shift in Rolling Meadows, IL. The role focuses on setup, operation, and maintenance of Haas and Mazak mills/lathes to produce precision components with tight tolerances. You will program, adjust, and QA parts while supporting training of other operators in a climate-controlled facility.

Must read blueprints, use G-code and Mazatrol, and perform routine maintenance. Shift runs 2:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC mills and lathes with setup and changeover.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and interpret tolerances.
• Proficient in G-code and Mazatrol programming for Mazak/machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up Haas and Mazak machines to produce precision components.
• Program, profile, and adjust CNC output to meet specs.
• Inspect parts with micrometers/calipers to verify tolerances.
• Perform daily/weekly maintenance per manuals.
