Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC is seeking a qualified CNC Machinist for the 2nd shift in our Repairs Division in St. Louis, MO. The role offers a competitive base salary with significant opportunity for incentive compensation and includes responsibilities spanning from precision setup to operation of multi-axis machinery.

The position requires reading blueprints, using QC tools, and performing accurate dimensions and tolerances. Overtime and off-shift work may be required based on demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work 2nd shift from 2pm-10:30pm.
• Experience with Horizontal/Vertical mills and lathes.
• Experience with CNC and/or manual machine tools.
• Ability to read and use QC tools: Vernier calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges.
• Knowledge of shop math, metal properties, layout and machining procedures.
• Willing to work overtime and off shifts.

The Repairs Division located in St. Louis, MO is seeking experienced CNC Machinists for our 2nd shift. MD&A offers a competitive base salary with significant opportunity for incentive compensation.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:

• Calculate dimensions and tolerances utilizing math skills.
• Use in-housework tracking software to effectively capture labor hours on specific jobs.
• Maintain assigned machine tools & related equipment, according to daily maintenance schedule.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Work with Mazak, Haas, Siemens, and Fanuc controls.
• Design set-ups based on blueprint requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work 2nd shift from 2pm-10:30pm
• Experience with one or more of the following machine tools is required: Horizontal Mill, Horizontal Lathe, Vertical Mill and Vertical Turret Lathe.
• Experience with CNC and / or manual machine tools.
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve intended objectives.
• Ability to read and use related quality control tools such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, indicators and gauges.
• Have knowledge of shop math, metal properties, layout and machining procedures.
• Must be willing to work overtime during busy periods, as well as off shift work.
