Join to apply for the 2nd Shift - CNC Machinist role at Schuette Metals.

Position Summary

Set-up, program, and run CNC machines.

Typical schedule: 1st Shift 5:00am-1:30pm (Monday-Friday), 2nd Shift 1:30pm-12:00am (Monday-Thursday).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Run parts to pre-determined rates.
• Use inspection equipment to check dimensions and ensure quality parts.
• Make necessary changes to programming to keep parts within tolerance.
• Troubleshoot issues.
• Read customer and company blueprints proficiently.
• Complete setup procedures.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines.
• Use measuring devices such as calipers and tape measures.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience/training.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, squat, twist, and stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work overtime.
• Prompt and reliable attendance.
