Position Title: CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift



Wage: $20.00 - $30.00/hour



Shift: 2nd



Hours: 3:00pm - 1:00am (Monday - Thursday)

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

- Set tooling, work holding and program on the machine control to manufacture precision products to quality specifications defined by blueprints in an efficient manner

- Operate CNC equipment including 5-Axis Milling machines, Vertical Milling Machines, Horizontal Milling Machines, Lathes, Waterjet Machines and Horizontal Saws

- Read and apply shop orders, drawings and instructions to produce parts on CNC equipment

- Utilize measuring tools to ensure conformance to specifications and maintain appropriate record keeping and electronic documentation

- Perform basic equipment upkeep while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area



Requirements for CNC Machinist:

- Highly motivated

- Quality minded

- Strong math and measuring ability

- Punctual, dependable and reliable attendance

- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work standing and/or sitting

- Previous experience in CNC equipment operation with 2+ years of setup and programming knowledge

- Ability to read and interpret product drawings, choose the correct tooling and work holding and verify conformance with proper inspection equipment

- Ability to lift up to 70lbs
