Qualifications

• 1+ years of CNC laser or CNC equipment operating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience working with sheet metal and metal fabrication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser machines.
• Load and unload sheet metal and finished parts using proper material handling equipment.
• Verify machine settings and monitor equipment throughout production.
• Troubleshoot machine and processing issues as needed.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality using precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
• Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives.

CNC Laser Operator – Fairfield, OHPay: $22.00–$25.00/hour Shift: 2nd Shift Location: Fairfield, OHWe are currently hiring an experienced CNC Laser Operator for a metal manufacturing and fabrication facility in Fairfield, OH. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser machines to support high-quality and efficient production in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment while following all safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser machines
• Locate and load the correct laser programs into the machine
• Load and unload sheet metal and finished parts using proper material handling equipment
• Verify machine settings and monitor equipment throughout production
• Troubleshoot machine and processing issues as needed
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality using precision measuring tools
• Perform grinding, dressing, deburring, and other secondary operations as required
• Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with preventative maintenance
• Identify and report machine, material, or quality issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures
• Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives
