Job summary

Lantech is currently seeking a Laser & Brake Operator to ensure high‑quality components for our machine builds in Louisville, KY. You will operate CNC laser and brake equipment, read prints, route materials, and use calipers and tape measures to verify precision while supporting production schedules.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (trade/vocational training a plus), experience with sheet metal equipment, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; trade/vocational training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC laser, CNC brake, drill press, and other hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret machining prints and part drawings.
• Route materials through the shop to support production flow.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers to ensure accuracy.
• Operate a forklift as needed to move materials.
• Follow standardized work instructions to meet Lantech quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete work efficiently and on time.
