Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; machining/CNC/tool-and-die program preferred.
• 2+ years CNC machining experience, preferably on horizontal machining centers.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor the Horizontal Machining Center.
• Load and unload materials, fixtures, and tooling efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Perform tool offsets and machine adjustments to maintain quality.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
• Monitor machining processes and optimize cycle times for productivity.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with programmers and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment (6S standards).
• Take ownership of workmanship and safety/compliance.
