Job summary

Apex Geotech Solutions in Houston, TX seeks a detail-oriented shop support technician to assist CNC machinists with setup, material handling, and part movement. You will help maintain smooth production flow by loading materials, deburring parts, and keeping work areas clean and organized.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior shop experience is a plus, and adherence to safety PPE is required.

POSITION SUMMARY

Assists CNC Machinists and Operators with machine setup, material loading, part removal, and general shop support to maintain efficient production flow.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load raw material and unload finished parts from CNC machines
• Deburr, clean, and stage parts for inspection or next operation
• Assist with machine setups under direct supervision
• Keep machine area clean and stocked with required materials
• Move parts and materials using hand trucks or shop carts
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Perform other duties as assigned by Machinist or Supervisor

Requirements

Continuous standing and walking, frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, exposure to shop noise, metal chips, and coolants.
