Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a part-time Cleaner for the 2nd shift to support custodial operations at our facilities. The role involves routine floor care, dusting, window cleaning, bathroom stocking, trash removal, and basic maintenance tasks under supervision.

The successful candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for building occupants.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities require no previous experience.
• Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment, including a backpack vacuum.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces (inside buildings).
• Use light and heavy floor buffers and shampoo machines including attachments.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas.
• Spot clean daily and shampoo rugs when directed.
• Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and surfaces.
• Wash windowsills, interior doors, partitions and specified windows.
• Wash glass and trim at entrance doors; wash/spot clean interior walls daily.
• Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily.
• Monitors defects such as clogged urinals and lights out; reports to supervisors.
• Collect building trash daily; replace liners in waste baskets; place in designated collection area.
• Sweep or shovel snow from steps and walkways as directed.
• Performs periodic work: high dusting, leather and wood surfaces, polishing, wall washing.
