Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Chemical Operator in Pleasant Prairie, WI for 2nd shift. You will produce liquid chemical blends, operate pumps, valves, and mixers, and fill drums and totes with finished products while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk/bend during shifts, and work with chemicals wearing PPE; forklift experience is preferred. This is a potential-to-hire opportunity with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or chemical processing experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to frequently stand, walk and bend throughout shift
• Comfortable working around chemicals while wearing PPE

Responsibilities

• Produce liquid chemical blends according to manufacturing orders
• Operate pumps, valves, and mixers
• Fill drums, totes, and pails with finished products
• Collect samples from tanks and containers for quality control
• Complete production paperwork accurately
• Move drums using a handcart
• Operate a sit-down forklift
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures
