Job summary

Hanover Foods Corporation in Hanover, PA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform BPCS, distribution and audit functions, operate a forklift safely, and support cycle counting and inventory accuracy. You will follow GMPs and HACCP guidelines and assist in training new employees on proper procedures.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, work overtime as needed, and communicate effectively with supervision and team members in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs BPCS, distribution and audit functions.
• Operates a lift truck in a safe manner and checks it daily.
• Checks wheel chocks on loaded trailers.
• Assists with cycle counting and physical inventory.
• Follows GMPs and plant rules; adheres to HACCP and food safety policies.
• Lifts up to 100 pounds as required.
• Assists in training new employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Leadperson.

Job Shift: Swing

• Performs BPCS, distribution and audit functions
• Operates a lift truck in a safe manner – checking it daily to ensure there’s gas or an electrical charge, oil, and water.
• Checks and confirms that the wheels of the trailer being loaded are chocked.
• Assists with cycle counting and physical inventory.
• Performs duties according to Good Manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and plant rules and regulations.
• Responsible for lifting up to 100 pounds, as required.
• Assists in training new employees
• Adheres to common safety guidelines/practices
• Responsible for execution of food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP’s, HACCP, food safety, product quality, food security, plant security, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Leadperson.
