Job summary

The Legacy at Southpointe, a community of Navion Senior Living, is seeking Certified Medication Technicians for medication administration-related and caregiving roles. This is a Part-Time opportunity on 2nd Shift to join a great team.

The Legacy at Southpointe partners with Tapcheck to offer earned wage access. Responsibilities include positive resident relations, protecting resident rights, ongoing education, proper documentation, and reporting changes in residents’ condition.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma and be at least 18 years old.
• Completion of State Approved Medication Aide course is required.
• Personal Care Assistant or CNA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive working relationship with residents, family members and staff.
• Promotes and protects residents rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and education programs and completes continuing education as required by state regulations.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Documentation is completed in an informative and descriptive manner.
• All changes in a resident’s condition are reported to the supervisor promptly.
