Job summary

Southern Champion Tray LLC in Mansfield, TX is seeking a dependable forklift operator to transfer and store products from manufacturing to finished goods. The role requires safe operation of stand-up forklifts, basic computer skills, and strict adherence to SCT safety procedures.

You will inspect shipments, address hazards, support shipping activities, and maintain warehouse order. A high school diploma or GED is required, and certification as a powered industrial equipment operator is mandatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Must have basic computer skills and ability to use software.
• Must become a Certified powered industrial equipment operator and carry certification.

Responsibilities

• Transfer and store products from manufacturing to finished goods areas.
• Operate stand-up forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
• Report any equipment problems or safety hazards.
• Unload deliveries, inspect quality and quantity, and record data.
• Prepare inbound shipments for designated locations.
• Spot trailers at docks after visual inspection.
• Maintain warehouse order and assist with shipping and recording shipments.
• Regularly perform forklift checklist and equipment maintenance.
