Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a cell leader for the Hot Section Module Center - North (HSMC-N) to drive safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements on 2nd shift. You will supervise, coach and manage projects, reporting to the Business Unit Leader and coordinating with support groups.

The role is onsite with typical hours 2:30 PM - 12:AM, Monday–Friday, with potential first-shift training for up to 3 months. Strong leadership and Lean/CORE experience are valued.

Qualifications

• > Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience with specialized knowledge of operational practices or shop environment experience
• - OR an Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience
• - OR in lieu of degree, a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Provide directions to skilled bargaining unit employees.
• Lead employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts.
• Lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, and cost reduction.
• Perform daily supervisor responsibilities including project management, effective communication and execution with support group members.
• Establish work schedules taking into account for customer requirements, resource availability and other priorities.
• Provide leadership and direction with an emphasis on team building through daily toolbox meetings, effective communications, and in developing an efficient team.
