Job summary

International Paper is seeking a Spotter/Truck Driver (CDL required) for the 2nd shift in Newark, Ohio. The position involves safe operation of the yard truck, spotting trailers at docks, spotting on the lot, and performing daily equipment inspections.

You will maintain logs and report any irregularities. Pay starts at $23.20/hour and increases to $28.64/hour after 6 months; benefited by a comprehensive package including health, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the yard truck safely in drop & hook and staging scenarios for loaded/unloaded trailers.
• Spot positions loaded/unloaded trailers at assigned dock space for loading/unloading.
• Spot trailers on lot and perform local runs.
• Conduct daily inspections on spotter truck and equipment.
• Report defects, accidents, or damages to vehicles/equipment.
• Maintain logs of trailer movements and fuel.
• Check trailer inventory and report irregularities.
