Job summary

CHEP Services, LLC is hiring for a second-shift Yard Driver to support operations in a busy trailer yard. The role involves operating a spotter truck, backing trailers, and keeping the yard tidy and safe while complying with PPE and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency backing trailers into dock doors and parking slips.
• Ability to climb in and out of the spotter truck repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers with spotter trucks and maintain yard organization.
• Ensure safety compliance and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of trailer movements and locations.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to position trailers correctly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
