Job summary

Hathaway Hills Assisted Living & Memory Care in Greenville, MI, is seeking a part-time Caregiver for the 2nd shift. This role provides comfort, safety, supervision, and assistance with activities of daily living, including medication administration and charting. CPR/First Aid certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within thirty (30) days of hire.
• Must have demonstrable knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office in a Windows environment, with a capacity to master company specific software.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and document completion.
• Review eMAR each shift to ensure timely administration of medications and treatments.
• Partner with residents to provide needed/requested assistance with activities of daily living as outlined in the residents’ service plans.
• Answer resident call lights, as well as door and safety alarms promptly.
• Observe and report resident behavior and condition changes to Care Coordinator and Director of Resident Care.
• Obtain resident weights and vitals.
• Perform daily charting, documentation, and reporting as required.
• Assist with meal setup and cleanup as needed or requested.
• Promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors.
