Job summary

Pleasant Point Senior Living in Wisconsin is seeking a Full-Time Medication Aide (1st and 2nd shift) to join our caring team. You will administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents, observe effects, document in medication records, and communicate concerns to the Wellness Director.

You will also support activities of daily living and promote resident independence with dignity and respectful care.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of medication assistance training in compliance with state requirements.
• Maintains up-to-date medication certification according to state regulations.
• Compassionate and empathetic in personal interactions.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, able to collaborate and work as a team member.
• Adaptable, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments to residents.
• Observes effects, notes any adverse events, and documents in records.
• Communicates concerns with Wellness Director or designated personnel.
• Supports activities of daily living including hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health.
• Encourages resident independence and preserves dignity through professional conduct.
