Qualifications

• Five years facilities management experience in commercial real-estate, institutional or academic setting.
• Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures related to operations and personnel.
• Ability to monitor and control operational costs while maintaining high performance standards.
• Knowledge of construction management, architectural design principles, building codes and inspection procedures.
• Experience leading diverse teams and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels.
• Strong meeting facilitation, conflict resolution and presentation skills.
• Must be on-call nights or weekends for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily/periodic cleaning in university complexes.
• Supervise supervisors and custodians; determine staffing levels.
• Monitor cleanliness standards with occupants; ensure service quality.
• Schedule workforce; manage biweekly payroll.
• Train custodians; implement new procedures and policies.
• Manage records, reports, and supplies; liaise with vendors.
• Coordinate event setups and campus cleaning operations.
