Job summary

Eppendorf in Enfield, CT is seeking a service technician to perform precise calibration, repair and maintenance on customer pipettes, ensuring performance and quality standards. You will document results in our systems and keep service orders accurate and timely to support invoicing and QA processes.

What sets you apart

• Bringing a high school diploma or GED equivalent as a minimum; an associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.

• At least 1-2 years of relevant technical or customer experience (e.g. sales, service, lab support) or equivalent military training plus 1-2 years of relevant experience.

• Strong attention to detail and a careful working style that ensure calibrations, repairs and documentation are accurate and complete.

• Technical aptitude and willingness to learn: you are comfortable working with small precision instruments and following defined procedures.

• Basic familiarity with business or service systems (or the ability to learn them quickly) to document work, close orders and support invoicing.

• Good communication skills that enable you to provide clear, professional updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

• A reliability-focused mindset: you take responsibility for your work, follow quality and safety guidelines and keep commitments.
