Role Overview
Calibration Technician based in Lansdale, PA, traveling daily to support local customers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Delaware. Occasional overnight travel.
We work with life science clients who rely on accurate calibration of their equipment to research, develop, and manufacture medications, vaccines, and medical devices.
In this role you will:
- Use state‑of‑the‑art test equipment to calibrate and perform preventive maintenance on brand‑name manufacturer pipettes in accordance with SOPs.
- Work independently or as part of a team servicing equipment at customer locations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with all equipment and services.
- Create and verify calibration data sheets for technical content.
- Travel daily to local customers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Delaware; occasional overnight travel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or technical training.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in calibration and repair, experience with single and multi‑channel pipettes and repeaters preferred.
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 55 lbs., and stand/sit for extended periods.
- Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm to provide excellent customer service.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
- Reliable transportation with current vehicle registration and proof of insurance.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Vaccines and TB testing may be required for some laboratory applications.
Note: Mileage reimbursement will be provided for using your own vehicle.
