Job summary

Michigan State University is seeking a Part-Time Custodian for evening shifts in East Lansing. The role runs Monday to Friday from 10:30 pm to 2:30 am, totaling 20 hours per week, at a rate of $15.00-$16.00 per hour.

Primary duties include trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting restrooms. The position requires following instructions, reading hazard warnings, snow removal, and coordinating with student employees and university staff.

Qualifications

• Removes trash and performs cleaning duties as listed.
• Reads warning signs on chemicals, biological or radioactive hazards.
• Retains training information for custodial methods, equipment, and products.
• Works with student employees and communicates with the University community.
