Job summary

American Place Casino - Waukegan, IL is seeking a Buffet Busser for the 2nd shift to help clean and reset tables in a high-volume buffet setting. The role includes assisting the food server when time permits and supporting overall guest service.

Primary duties involve maintaining station cleanliness, performing side work, and adhering to table setting standards while handling high guest flow and occasional stress. Competitive hourly pay plus tips is offered.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• 6 months related experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

• Excellent internal/external guest service.
• Perform all side work as indicated by the start of shift checklist.
• Maintain cleanliness of side station and all work areas.
• Clear, wipe and reset tables according to table setting standards.
• Transport dirty items to dish room.
• Bring supplies from dish room; silverware, glasses, plates, coffee cups and saucers.
• Make regular periodic runs over the carpet with sweeper.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.
