Newly Weds Foods is seeking a Bulk Truck Unloader to support production and warehouse operations. The role involves receiving, unloading, and depositing bulk flour from rail and truck into silos, while maintaining accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6+ months experience in a food production environment.
• Must be able to stand, lift and move product for most of the day.
• Able to move and hook up hoses.
• Minimal computer skills required.
• Not afraid of heights up to 50 ft.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Receive paperwork from Truck Driver for incoming product.
• Break seal and take sample to lab for verification.
• Hook truck up properly to unload product.
• Unload product through sifter house into the silo.
• Verify correct silo receives unload.
• Complete and maintain paperwork as needed.
• Follow safety and sanitation rules.
• Keep area and sifter house clean.
• Assist in cleaning silos as needed.
• Maintain stock during shift change and prevent shortages.
• Receive and unload bulk flour from rail cars and bulk trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Shift: 2nd Shift (3 pm-11pm), may be asked to work up to 12 hr shifts and cover other bulk truck unloaders as needed

Job Summary:

The Bulk Truck Unloader will assist production and the warehouse in running efficiently. They will be responsible for receiving, loading, and unloading bulk flour from the railroads and depositing them in a timely manner.

Essential Functions:

• Receive paperwork on the incoming product from the Truck Driver.
• Break seal and take sample to lab for product verification.
• Hook the truck up properly to unload product.
• Product is unloaded through the sifter house into the silo.
• Verify the truck is unloaded properly into the correct silo.
• Completes and maintains paperwork as needed.
• Follows safety & sanitation rules.
• Keeps area and sifter house clean.
• Help clean the silos as needed.
• Responsible for keeping the production areas from running out of flour and completing paperwork at shift change.
• Employee will be responsible for receiving and unloading bulk flour from rail cars and bulk trucks.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Job requires constant standing, lifting, and moving product a majority of the day.
• Employee must be able to move and hook up hoses.
• Minimal computer skills required.
• Must not have an aversion to heights up to 50ft.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

Work Environment:

The job is performed outside the facility and inside the facility in production areas where the person will be exposed to strong aromas, airborne dust particles emanating from ingredients being used, and will be in the presence of or otherwise operating machinery.
