Job summary

Piping Rock Health Products, INC is seeking a Bulk Material Handler on 2nd shift to move materials and support the supply department, following SOPs and GMPs to ensure quality.

You will operate material handling equipment, load/unload trucks, organize storage, and maintain safety, attendance, and compliance. English literacy and basic math skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must comply with GMP requirements; on-the-job training will cover functions and documents
• GED or high school diploma preferred
• Bi-lingual is a plus
• Prior manufacturing or packaging experience preferred
• Must be able to read, write and understand English
• Must comply with company policies and maintain regular attendance
• Proficient computer skills and strong math skills required
• Physical effort: lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a physically challenging environment for up to 8 hours
• Work environment may include powders, chemicals, and allergens

Responsibilities

• Operates material handling equipment independently and in a team setting
• Moves material to appropriate destinations
• Load and unload the trucks
• Organizes and maintains materials in storage or staging areas
• Adheres to safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs
• Disposes of cardboard boxes and garbage
• Performs other duties as assigned
