Job summary

80/20 LLC in Columbia City, IN is seeking a Builds Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 2p-12a). You will read drawings and assemble orders to exact specs, collaborating with other operators to ensure accurate completion of customer orders.

Responsibilities include material prep, building and shipping projects, assisting with exhibits and deliveries, troubleshooting and coordinating with other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to read work instructions and communicate with others.
• Strong math skills and understanding of fractions/decimals.
• Able to read a tape measure and use air/hand tools.
• Forklift license required or obtainable.
• Able to stand, twist, bend, squat, stoop, kneel and lift 40 lbs for 10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings to assemble orders per specifications.
• Assist with prepping materials for builds (loading fasteners, installing covers).
• Build, assemble, and ship completed projects.
• Support design, building, installation, and delivery of exhibits and special projects.
• Troubleshoot errors and communicate with other departments.
• All other duties as deemed necessary.
