Job summary

Daikin Applied Ltd. in Staunton, VA is seeking a Brazer for 2nd shift to support brazing duties in a climate-controlled facility. Starting wage is $27.13 per hour plus a $2.30 shift differential, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 1:50 pm to 9:50 pm.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• High School Education or GED, or 2+ years of related manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform line brazing and brazing duties as assigned.
• Follow safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Read blueprints, schematics, BOMs, routing sheets, OMS docs, and other instructions.
• Operate tools and equipment to assemble, test, handle, and move components.
• Use measuring devices and visual inspection to ensure quality.
• Maintain quality records and report line issues in data systems.
• Complete required training (e.g., crane, fall protection).
• Daily preventative maintenance on braze equipment.
