Unicorr Packaging Group seeks a self-motivated Boiler and Starch Room Operator for 1st and 2nd shifts in Marlborough, MA. The role involves operating boilers and starch preparation, with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate holds a 2nd Class Fireman’s license or a trainable wastewater license, a high school diploma, and 2+ years in industrial production. Overtime, nights, and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• 2nd Class Fireman’s license required.
• Industrial Class 2 Wastewater Treatment License or ability to train.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in industrial production preferred.
• Must be available for weekends/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate boilers and related systems safely.
• Maintain and troubleshoot boilers, steam, condensate, makeup water and related equipment.
• Make batches of starch and verify starch quality.
• Operate water treatment equipment.
• Work with production to meet quotas and goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Observe safety guidelines and report concerns.
• Attend safety and production trainings.
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.
• Able to work overtime, nights and weekends.
