Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a Bindery Material Handler for the 2nd shift. The role involves reading work orders, feeding and stacking materials, and prepping items for the next production stage.

Work week is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM with a pay rate of $15.75 per hour. Candidates should be able to stand, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in a busy manufacturing environment. Nesco Resource offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of general warehouse layout and procedures.
• Able to feed, stock, move, jog, arrange, unload and rotate items on/off bindery equipment under guidance of supervisor.
• Basic familiarity with industrial safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and verbal instructions to ascertain materials or components.
• Feed and stack materials at equipment.
• Jog product off counter stacker and stack neatly on skid to ensure seamless next-stage production.
• Feed and jog materials from skids into pockets of the machine.
• Strap, box and skid product as needed per ticket.
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on boxes or skids of product.
• Operate box taping machine and strapping machines as required in production areas.
• Occasionally operate manual pallet jack to assist in loading and moving materials and products.
• Carry boxing materials from holding area or use carts to retrieve materials.
