Job summary

TSG - The Sheridan Group seeks a dedicated Bindery Helper for our Brainerd, MN facility on 2nd shift (2:30 pm – 11:00 pm). You will perform hand work and light machine tasks, assisting the operator and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include loading signatures, inspecting output, hand collating, tagging, closing and palletizing boxes, and keeping work areas clean. Strong reading and following instructions required; HS diploma or GED needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to read sufficiently to identify various printed forms and count accurately.
• Must be able to work in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Load printed signatures into correct pocket for collating.
• Inspect product from line ensuring quality and communicate issues to operator.
• Perform hand collating, inserting, stickering, ribbon application, and repairing.
• Accurately record all production in logs, tickets and load tags.
