Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking Batch Operators/Processors for the Mason, OH area. The role supports processing kettles to make condiments and syrups, with a 2pm-10pm second shift. Overtime possible. Starting pay is $24.61/hour.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, safe work history and warehouse/logistics experience, and must be able to lift 50 lbs. Excellent attention to detail and adherence to GMP are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• History of safe work practices.
• Prior experience in a warehouse- shipping/receiving- logistics environment is required.
• Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to call out defects and implement to Quality standards.
• Achieve qualified score on job skills assessment- to be coordinated after receiving a passing interview score.

Responsibilities

• Follow production schedules with minimal scrap/spoilage.
• Visually inspect equipment for cleanliness and maintenance; clean components as needed.
• Monitors equipment controls- temperature meters- valves and adjust as needed.
• Operate forklift/pallet jack to move ingredients and pallets/totes in processing area.
• Open ingredient cases/packages with can openers, knives, band cutters, snips, pliers, etc.
• Record data on work completed, ingredients used, lot codes and processing information.
• Assist in cleaning equipment and lines between recipes.
• Acquire ingredients/supplies from warehouse and samples of batches.
• Transfer finished products to drum, tote, or tank via piping system.
• Determine batch sizes to meet orders and line requirements.
• Operate equipment safely following GMP guidelines and keep area clean.
• Other duties as assigned.
