Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. is seeking a full-time General Warehouse Worker to pack and ship ecommerce orders in a climate-controlled environment.

You will handle order picking, labeling, and packing on a Monday through Friday 4:15pm–1:00am schedule with occasional overtime. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and safety, with on-site work and the ability to log into the Order Management System, print labels, and prepare packages for shipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 months of order pulling experience preferred or equivalent distribution experience.
• Must be able to interact with voice picking system.

Responsibilities

• Pack books and ship orders according to the specification list with accuracy and productivity.
• Log onto Order Management System and process by order type.
• Scan items and generate shipping labels; pack orders in appropriate packaging.
• Scan shipping labels to close orders and push packages on the conveyor.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Communicate with team members in a collaborative, on-site setting.

Summary:Pack book and ship ecommerce orders according to order specification list with a level of accuracy and productivity by following standard procedures to achieve an acceptable performance level.

Essential Functions:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:

• Regular, reliable attendance is required as work cannot be performed remotely.
• Receive constructive performance feedback
• Create a package for each order
• Use the computer to log onto Order Management System and proper process by order type.
• Scan the books/items and produce a shipping label.
• Pack the order in the appropriate package.
• Scan shipping label to close the order.
• Push all packages on the conveyor line
• Follow safety rules for personal safety and the safety of others; including maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Comprehend verbal directions and communicate with team members in a team environment.

Non-Essential Functi sually identify by inspecting books for damaged product and place in designated area.

• Other duties may be assigned, directed or requested.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1-3 months of order pulling experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and distribution experience may be substituted.
• Must be able to interact with voice picking system
