Job summary

Hamilton-Ryker in Berea, KY is seeking a 2nd shift painter for a manufacturing environment. This temp-to-hire position runs Monday-Thursday, 3:30pm-2:00am with overtime on Fridays/Saturdays.

You will clean, sand blast and apply primer and automotive finish paint, and ensure proper surface preparation and color accuracy. Qualified applicants have at least six months of primer/auto finish paint experience, vocational auto body repair/painting cert or a high school diploma, basic math skills, and

Qualifications

• Must have minimum six months experience in primer and automotive finish paint.
• Must have experience in proper preparation of the area to be painted.
• Must have Vocational training or post High School Certification in auto body repair/painting.
• Must have High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have Basic Math skills.
• Must have experience using air tools, hand tools, overhead cranes.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass client background/drug policy.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sand blast, and apply paint to maintain standards and follow established procedures.
• Maintain proper color of lift truck to meet specifications.
• Maintain adherence for a quality product.
• Promote a safe work environment through safe behavior and proper PPE usage.
• Perform routine cleaning of spray equipment and general housekeeping.
• Maintain adherence to quality standards.
• Support and enforce all company policies including safety, housekeeping, environmental, financial, reporting, and discipline.
