Kruger Inc. seeks an Assistant Operator for the 2nd shift at the Elizabethtown Plant, KY. The role supports safe, efficient operation of Converting equipment, collaborates with the Operator, and helps prepare materials, set up machines, and monitor quality.

The position emphasizes GMP/SQF adherence, strong teamwork, and ability to work a fast-paced environment with varied hours. Training and advancement opportunities are available, with weekly pay for hourly employees.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior work experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Safely set up, monitor, troubleshoot and adjust machine with operator guidance.
• Minimize downtime and maximize equipment utilization.
• Assist in performing preventative maintenance.
• Use inventory systems to pull correct stock for orders.
• Perform quality inspections and adjust as needed.
• Maintain ink levels and check pH and viscosity.
