Job Description: Assistant Machine Operator: Fort Atkinson, WI

Our customer located in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, is a growing company committed to providing excellent service and producing quality work. As a Machine Operator Support on 2nd Shift, you will assist with machine setup, monitor performance, ensure product quality, and support a safe and efficient production environment.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Machine Operator:
  • Assist the machine operator with starting, stopping, and adjusting machinery for efficient operation.
  • Monitor machine performance, identify irregularities or malfunctions, and assist with troubleshooting.
  • Help prepare and set up machinery for production, including loading materials and adjusting settings.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and report defects.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and compliance with standards.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is preferred but not required.
  • Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Pay and Benefits:

Starting at $18.25/hour.

Monday – Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, 2nd Shift
