The role focuses on soldering to IPC Class 3, die attach, and visual inspection of MMIC assemblies, with emphasis on clear instruction and safe practices. Responsibilities include training new hires, updating training materials, coordinating with SMEs and Manufacturing Engineering, and maintaining process

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
  • IPC J-STD-001 soldering training certification.
  • MIL-STD-883 pre-cap visual inspection certification.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MES systems.

Responsibilities

  • Train new hires on integrated module assembly, including mechanical assembly, soldering to IPC Class 3, die attach, and visual inspection.
  • Train on material handling procedures, MES tracking, documentation access, and drawing interpretation.
  • Develop and maintain assembly manufacturing process checklists with SMEs.
  • Update training documentation to current industry practices.
  • Administer training classes on manual and automated unit processes.
  • Assist new hires with online Quality training.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to train on rework execution.
