Job summary

Parker Hannifin in Mentor, Ohio, is seeking an Assembly & Test Operator for the 2nd shift to perform a range of assembly and test tasks with minimal supervision. You will use gauges, fixtures, and test equipment to ensure final assemblies meet specifications.

This role emphasizes basic mechanical skills, blueprint reading, and strong teamwork. The position offers a steady schedule from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with shift differential and opportunities to develop manufacturing

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent required.
Must demonstrate manual dexterity.
Able to read and understand blueprints.
Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

Perform basic to complex assembly and test functions with minimal supervision using hand/power tools and measuring equipment.
Hand deburr as needed.
Ensure equipment is calibrated per schedule.
Produce and inspect assemblies meeting specifications.
Rework malfunctions identified by test data.
Record test results on data forms.
Interpret engineering orders, routes, specs, and quality directives.
Maintain a clean, safe workstation with FOD prevention.
May operate an automatic weld machine.
Perform related duties as assigned.
