Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation in Charlotte, NC is seeking a 2nd shift Assembly Technician to safely operate power tools, read blueprints, assemble components on time and to quality specifications.

You will follow standard work instructions, identify improvement opportunities and maintain a clean workstation, while upholding high standards for productivity, quality and safety. Overtime and multi-station learning are possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year manufacturing assembly experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate power tools for precise assembly and quality control.
• Follow prescribed assembly and testing procedures.
• Assemble components on time according to specifications.
• Identify improvements and communicate change ideas.
• Maintain clean workstation and department housekeeping.
